Getting Started: Description - Main Window - Working With Images - Navigation - Editing Images - Entering your licence key
Image options can be changed to control how the picture is displayed. The picture can be scaled to fit in the window in different ways, and you can rotate it and zoom in and out. These options only control how the picture is displayed, they do not change the saved picture. The window fit options do not scale the picture larger than 100%, however you can zoom larger than 100%.
The following options can be accessed from the Image menu. They can also be accessed through a context menu by right clicking on the image.| Fit to Window | The picture is scaled so the whole picture is visible in the current window. |
| Full Size | The picture is shown full size with scrollbars as necessary. |
| Fit Width | The picture is scaled to fit the width of the window. The window can be scrolled vertically if necessary. |
| Fit Height | The picture is scaled to fit the height of the window. The window can be scrolled horizontally if necessary. |
| Rotate Left/Right | Rotate the picture left(anticlockwise) or right(clockwise). |
| Zoom | Zoom the picture in and out by various amounts. If you zoom using the context menu, the point you clicked on will be centered in the window. |
| Left Mouse Click | Zooms the picture to 100% and centers the window on the point that was clicked. Or, if the picture is already zoomed, resets to the original scale. |
| Right Mouse Click | Brings up the context menu to zoom in or out by various amounts, and centers the window on the point clicked. The menu also provides options to rotate the picture and change the window fit. |
Opening images in a new window
Images can be opened in a separate window. This allows you to compare 2 photos for example. To open an image in another window, right click on the image in the list and choose Open in New Window, choose File->View in New Window from the menus, or press Control-N. You can switch between the different windows using the normal Windows Alt-Tab key combination.
